How I Felt
“How I Felt” is the first comprehensive monograph by fashion label Hutup/Christine Birkle, who was well known for her unique felting technique.
The publication shows her collections, sketches and photographs as well as her collaboration with choreographer Sasha Waltz. An accompanying text by Julia Burde is contextualizing her work.
The first part of the book, printed on glossy paper, offers insights in Christine Birkles design process by showing personal photographs. The linen cover with an embossed typography has a clear look and provides a haptic experience.

The publication was awarded with the German Design Award.
