Goldrausch 2020
Sirene
Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt is a professionalization programme for female* visual artists. Since 2016, we have been designing the identity for their annual graduate exhibition in close cooperation with the artists.
In 2020, the Goldrausch Programme for female Artists exhibits works by 15 women artists under the title “Sirene” at Bethanien in Berlin. Every year the program shows female positions to point out the lack of equal opportunities in the art world. The title “Sirene” refers to an alarm signal, a wake-up call.
The design visually picks up this basic idea and brings it into a design system. The typography as well as the graphic background play with the idea of oscillations. They are graphically woven into a dense, striking image.
